Mpho Mautla |
Struggling to find products for her skin is what motivated Durban's Madam glow Mpho Mautla to start her skin range product Glowbox.
The 25year old life saviour for women across the country started by selling her products on Instagram after being asked of the glow in her face. When she tested the products and saw the good results, Mautla saw it fit to share with the other ladies. She described Glowbox as the simple product that can be used at any time of the day.
“I wanted to formulate a skin care routine that people would understand, because finding
compatible products is hard,” She said.
Impatient customers tried to make it difficult for her but giving up was not an option. Doing
business on Instagram required her to be discipline and draw boundaries for her customers.
“Some customers would text me at midnight asking for their products,” she said.
Some customers did not understand that this is just a business and there are closing times.
Mautla has opened a salon and Glowbox can be purchased immediately to Durban
customers. She said this is another way for her business to expand and for people who are
impatient to be able to purchase immediately.
Mautla does not only promote people to buy the product but she is advising her customers to
eat well. She said that, “Your skin reflects on what is going on inside your body.” She has
also mentioned that there is a Glowbox foundation where they help boy and girls with
donations.
