By: Lwazi KhuboniSouth African Football Association requested the changes of the Absa Premiership fixture on the week and the weekend ahead of the international break.
This request is aimed to give Bafana Bafana enough time to prepare for their important African Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya. This season has already came across many challenges to the PSL in fixture scheduling including changes by the CAF calendar.
The changes will effect Absa Premiership fixtures scheduled on Friday 15 March, Saturday 16 March and Sunday 17 March 2019.
These are the changes below.
Chippa United vs Highlands on 15 March 2019 is moved to 17 March 2019 at 15:30 kick off.
Supersport United vs Kaizer Chiefs on 16 March 2019 is moved to 15 March 2019 at 20:00 Kick off.
Cape Town City vs Polokwane City on 17 March 2019 is moved to 15 March 2019 at 20:00 kick off.
Bloemfontein Celtics vs Bidvest Wits on 17 March 2019 is moved to 15 March 2019 at 20:00 kick off.
Free State Stars vs AmaZulu on 16 March 2019 at 20:15 is now earlier the same day 15:30.
